Assistant General Counsel - US Consumer Retail Bank

The attorney will be joining an outstanding team of legal professionals working closely with business partners to support Citi's US Retail Bank product offerings and related promotional activities. The attorney will support clients through the increased regulatory and technology demands on bank products.The main focus of this position is to provide legal support to dynamic product developments for checking, savings, CD and retirement products and to remain abreast of applicable legal requirements.This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in consumer product development across sales distribution channels.

The candidate should be project-oriented and have strong team skills with the ability to work well with both attorneys and business professionals.  Expertise and expericence counseling clients on consumer financial protection laws with an emphasis on  TISA/Regulation DD .

Candidate must have:

•             A Juris Doctor degree

•             A license in good standing to practice law in at least one state

•             Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•             Proven analytical and organizational skills

•             Demonstrably strong writing skills

•             Experience in managing attorneys and paralegals

Years of Experience (Preferred): At least 5 years of experience in the practice of law supporting consumer financial services.
