Director - CVA Structurer/Trader

The XVA desk is primarily responsible for the pricing and risk management of counterparty credit risk for Global Commodities business.  The desk also prices the cost of funding and capital both at the transaction level and at a portfolio level for different businesses within Commodities.  The desk works closely with Sales, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Finance and Banking functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide CVA, funding and cost of capital pricing to Sales for NAM Commodities business.  Actively manage the Commodities XVA book which will include the following activities:  review and sign off on P&L; work with Risk on various matters like limits, credit line approvals, CCAR etc; work with MQA and IT to develop the Commodities XVA infrastructure; present periodic updates to Commodities management; training new joiners in Commodities on XVA concepts and practice.


Experience in derivatives modelling (7 to 10 years) is the key requirement.  Any experience related to XVA desk or credit derivatives will be considered a plus.  Knowledge of Commodities is preferred but not a must.

Strong analytical and mathematical skill.
Strong in derivatives modelling concepts – option pricing, greeks, simulation methods etc.
Fluency in Excel will be required to be effective in the role

VBA/other programming skills & experience is a plus.
Ability to price CVA is a plus

Good communication skills.

Ability to work as team with different support partner groups across different locations.

Undergraduate numerate degree or higher
