This is a VP-level position responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients including Private Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and other financial institutions based in Hong Kong. The salesperson would be a key member of a dedicated APAC FX Investor Sales team based across Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney, and an important contributor of the team's revenue. The successful candidate will be expected to grow our presence in Greater China for FX flow and structuring business, and would be expected to protect our clients and the franchise through a relentless commitment to control and governance build on the highest standard of personal ethics and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively cover a portfolio of clients (includes execution and backing up clients where needed) and be a leading contributor to the teams CV.
  • Developing and mentoring junior talent
  • Assist with the implementation of the broader strategy for the Investor client segment and develop appropriate regional strategies
  • Assist Senior Management FX interaction with Platinum and Priority clients in the region
  • Lead/Coordinate thought leadership content for our Investor clients in the region; includes leading macro dinners, bring resources from the global network to Asia etc.
  • Communicate regularly to Regional Heads, in addition to any other relevant senior managers on all aspects of the business; results, market themes, successes, issues
  • Staying on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape
  • Adhere to and cascade all supervisory training and tools to create a culture of responsibility to our clients, our shareholders and each other

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Foreign Exchange
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the Private Banks and Asset Management Industries
  • Proven product and solution skills
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and functional partners internally
  • Proven track record of successful FX client coverage  

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
