  • The Business Analytics Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

  • Prepare presentation to provide highlights/updates regarding Data Quality, End User Computing, Data Control for Data Governance Forum
  • Generate monthly Data Quality Scorecard and Data Management Tool Report timely and as per approved business rules
  • Collaborate with relevant to identify critical data elements and design business rule for these data elements and register new critical data elements if any within approved Data Governance Framework
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to investigate and fix data quality which is not met our requirement
  • Manage infrastructure and data warehouse to ensure data access right to be granted appropriately
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for data warehouse enhancement
  • Identify opportunity to improve data capability to support business growth
  • Perform parameter upload into Data Warehouse to ensure no impact on business
  • Oversight on record management, risk & control assessment and data security matrix


  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in banking or financial services industry with experience in data warehouse management and data quality control
  • Strong knowledge and ability to use Excel VBA, Access, SAS, SQL and other tools to support analytical methods, database management, and communication of results
  • Working knowledge of business statistics, mathematical and data modeling processes
  • Organized and possess excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels is required. Demonstrate sound project management and/or leadership skills
  • Good project management


  • University degree holder in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Statistics or Business Administration, Information & Technology) or related discipline

Citi has entered into an agreement with United Overseas Bank (UOB Vietnam) to transfer its consumer bank in Vietnam which includes Cards & Loans, retail banking and insurance distribution. The sale is expected to complete in end of 2022. As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi, but during the course of sale completion, their employment will transfer to UOB (or) a new entity that will employ Citi’s consumer bank employees, prior to their transfer to UOB.
