The Latam Regional Controls Lead Analyst is a seasoned professional with the ability to analysis and understand control metrics that will guide process improvements and will provide general Risk & Control support to the Latam Controllers.  This role will require frequent presentations to Senior Executives, Compliance and InBusiness Risk Partners well to provide insight into the current control environment. Requires excellent analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.


  • Monitor Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) Issues for Finance as required per the Regulatory Exam Management policy.
  • Analysis, review & monitoring of Issues/CAPs for Finance-owned Principal Risk & Path to Improvement with businesses for Latam including Mexico. Manage and monitor “Path to Improvement” for Principal Risks in Latam. Provide effective challenge to businesses on Corrective Action Plans.
  • Monthly “Data Quality Assurance” reviews on L1 and L2 Issues and document monthly Issue reviews of all other issues categories defined by ORM
  • Report Regional Governance Committee Control Analysis & Issue metrics: Strengthen reporting of control metrics for regional RRGC, regional/global BRCC and other key committees.
  • Report monthly Issues at Risk and LATAM Finance Issues for completeness, for the Global Governance Control Officer (GCO) Issue reporting
  • Weekly/ monthly and adhoc reporting on audit status, regulatory exam status, IA CER metrics, and Senior Finance Scorecards
  • Analyzes and identifies risk and performs analytical reporting
  • Analyze key metrics to monitor and drive governance and control, including Internal Audit Scorecard and Control Environment Report metrics for LATAM region, including global issues/audits
  • May support any area of the business (organizationally, regionally or product-wise) from an issue/project perspective; regular engagement with Senior Business Level Officers, ORM, Risk, and Compliance regarding complex matters.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Initiates and develops relationships with others throughout the business unit and the company in order to identify and understand business needs
  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
  • Participates in and leads other process improvement and key business projects as needed. 
  • Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge in Digital Technology tools such as, but not limited, to Power BI and Knime preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present a compelling case for ideas and initiatives through listening and articulating a convincing point of view
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast paced environment
  •  Advanced English mandatory


  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
