Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 Mon-Fri 10AM-7PM (Hybrid)

The Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 is an entry level role responsible for assisting with any projects and initiatives related to cash management and transaction services.

This position specifically is for a Client Operations Specialist- supporting the Global Payment Operations. The Client Operations Specialist receives and completes an analysis of various inquiries related to wire processing. This role will include handling various types of escalations and inquires received via email, as they relate to end to end payment flow for funds transfer wire processing. This role will also support the reconfirmation process of a specific subset of wires processed via Citibank, NY.

Responsibilities

• Customer service for internal service teams and business partners across the globe

• Adept at working in high pressure scenarios and delivering consistent results

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and exercise exceptional time management skills

• Flexibility and initiative in supporting multiple functions within the space

• Ability to work independently while also maintaining awareness of larger team needs

• Develop practical knowledge of industry practices and standards

• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams within the department

• Perform according to compliance standards and departmental procedures to minimize losses

• This role requires working some US holidays to cover international responsibilities specific to our team and functions

• Knowledge of Citi’s infrastructure, payment flows and SWIFT is advantageous

• Assist with operational processes and process improvements

• Ensure transactions or processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls

• Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed

• Perform all required tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred

• Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Exhibits excellent attention to detail and problem solving abilities

• *Schedule 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
