The Sr. Ops and Communications Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible to establish, maintain and provide metrics and analytics to the LATAM O&T Communications function outlining trends and monitoring campaigns, usage of communications’ outlets and channels.

It reports to the Manager of O&T Communications for Latin America and independently contributes to the development, coordination, implementation, and optimization of internal communications campaigns for LATAM’s (including Mexico) Operations and Technology (O&T) organizations including EO&T, ICG O&T, and GCB O&T, in alignment with the business strategy. It brings expertise in design and production of creative materials including graphics, videos, email campaign pieces, among others; while being the gatekeeper of final communications pieces and resources; helping the team to keep data centralized and reachable.

In addition, this role will provide operations support services for the regional team, including but not limited tofacilitate and ensure policies in place are in compliance for third part management, regional resource management, serving as a liaison between Operations staff, Technology Managers, Third Party Suppliers, Relationship Managers, Project Managers, Custodians and Clients. This role demands a deepunderstanding on LATAM O&T BRM workflows to ensure the right financial approvals process, delegation authority, contract execution, creation of requisition, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize knowledge and operational skills of the appropriate software programs to ​generate creative and engaging themes for assigned projects, campaigns, and copy writing, including designing slides for meetings utilizing PowerPoint, posts in HTML, images in Photoshop and/or Illustrator, videos in Premiere, among others.

  • Uses audio, visual, video, and other media proficiently and creatively to tell a story.

  • Maintain internal communications channels through a variety of media venues, including print, video, audio, and web-based (intranet)

  • Independently creates, designs, edits, and reviews communications prior to release to ensure message consistency and alignment with Citi’s shared responsibilities and corporate branding. 

  • Supports special communications projects and special events (town halls, leadership meetings, local employee events, etc.)

  • Serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross function operational processes and project deliverables.

  • Influence decisions through advice and counsel as well as facilitate services to others in area.

  • Independently designs/analyzes complex reports to provide support on metrics reporting and content classification on LATAM O&T Communications channels and activities.

  • Perform in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes and industry standards for business supported to identify and resolve complex problems.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Liaises with multiple teams across Operations including TTS, Private Bank HNW, Private Bank CPB, Markets, Custody, IPB, CMP and M&A.

  • Monitor project quality and timelines and ensure adherence to established guidelines

  • Assist with performing feasibility analysis for process changes and coordinate with business teams to develop system process improvements and solutions.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of business analysis experience required

  • Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Valued knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, After Effects, and Premiere).

  • Web-metrics experience desired with Omniture familiarity.

  • Preferable experience in SharePoint and MS Teams platforms.

  • Fluent English and Spanish.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Preferably highly knowledgeable on Citi’s billing and payment processes and tools; as well as Citi’s business, functions and areas involved in Third Party procurement. On a daily basis, ensure that Third Party contracts and agreements comply with Citi’s policies and standards. Address short and long-term issues with daily billing process activities. Ensure these will not interrupt any ongoing p processes & operations. Resolve issues where those involved find the solution acceptable without compromising internal and Third Party policies nor relationships. Analytic, mathematical, and trouble shooting skills. Data analysis. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Proven organization and time management skills. Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. Capable to quickly master new assignments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
