The Re-engineering Process Manager accomplishes results through the management of a professional team. The role will contribute to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate with each other, Process Mapping strategies, Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) 2.0, as well as coordinating and contributing to the objectives of the entire Process Excellence organization. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

This role will guide themselves and their team through the creation and maintenance of End to End Process Maps. The role will support projects within both Process Excellence and the broader Chief Administrative Office (CAO).  The role will play a key part in the facilitation, build out, development and maturation of the Process Inventory and Business Process Modeling & Notation (BPMN) 2.0 programs and play a collaborative role in strengthening Risk Management within US PBWM. The role will involve current and future state process modeling, data management, process maintenance, as well as procedures and infrastructure work within Process Excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization while demonstrating excellent facilitation skills and executive presence.
  • Works with team members to ensure Process Mapping and service delivery objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Support leadership in managing the program, by compiling and analyzing progress on the various aspects of the Process Mapping program.
  • Compile and analyze the metrics to understand ongoing performance of own team, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day needs of the program which involves tracking progress, removing barriers and providing cross functional leadership.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities associated with a specific process mapping and reengineering efforts.
  • Responsible for the tactical execution of medium sized projects, or phases of larger reengineering efforts.
  • Provide timely and regular communication, and overall project reporting within team, business partners, business leadership and reengineering leadership.
  • Partner with product business management for appropriate prioritization, and assist in the successful delivery of their projects as needed.
  • Facilitate large end to end, cross functional, process review sessions to understand current state and future state of processes.
  • Work with the project teams to assure future state process is solving for business goals and overcoming barriers.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Strong collaboration skills. Able to successfully work with diverse functional teams and across multiple markets and geographies. Promotes a culture of teamwork and able to create and foster strong partnerships

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years process and project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process mapping and/or enterprise architecture strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Process Modeling & Notation (BPMN 2.0)
  • Awareness of core processes and systems leveraged across the various functions within the firm.
  • Well versed in working in and supporting a heavily integrated team environment with aggressive timelines, large workload and high demand for accuracy and quality.
  • Knowledge and experience with CAO, ICRM, Process Mapping, Citi Risk and Controls a plus.
  • Self-starter, able to operate with minimal direction, with strong work ethic, passion for learning, and a desire to accomplish tasks with excellence.
  • Proven interpersonal, diplomatic and influencing skills
  • Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
