Job Purpose:

The Senior Project Manager will beresponsible for the successful delivery of client projects ensuring adherence to internal governance standards and client contractual requirements.  

Job Background:

The role sits in the Edinburgh Fund Accounting Change function reporting to the Practice Lead and operating within a client focused Delivery Team. This is a fast paced, dynamic environmentwith many concurrent priorities to be managed and high expectations on the quality of the outcomes we deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of projects supporting client change
  • Collaborate with operational teams and SMEs to define and execute project tasks
  • Liaise with clients, where appropriate, to report progress, issues and mitigation planning where necessary
  • Comply with all necessary project governance
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Manage project risk, assumptions, issues & dependencies
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Support post implementation reviews and Delivery Team retrospectives to ensure we benefit from lessons learnt


  • Minimum 5 years project management experience in Financial Services, preferably Fund Accounting, Asset Management or Transfer Agency
  • Experience of working within a highly controlled project environment with proven track record in risk management
  • Experience of delivering projects for clients


  • “A” level standard or above.
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent preferred but not essential.


  • Strong communicator and able to liaise confidently with Ops and IT colleagues, senior Citi Managers and client contacts
  • Proficient in people leadership & Emotional Intelligence.
