The Relationship Management Associate is a developing professional role which supports the acqusition and management of relationships for the Commercial Bank in Western Europe. The RMA Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain international experience serving our growing franchise as well as proactively participate in the development and expansion of the CCB in Western Europe.  

Responsibilities:

• Support the CSG WE Head and the team of RMs with RFPs and new client pitches

• Serves as clients' contact point and is responsible for managing internal departments to address any customer service issues

• Act as back-up for Relationship Managers and other Relationship Associate team members as and when needed by the business

• Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ individual needs

• Works closely with Case Manager on the on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate "Know Your Client" (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met

• Work with the COP team to Initiate CRM workflow for account opening and other Trade and Treasury Solutions products for assigned customers

• Provide day-to-day client servicing, handle and provide timely resolution to client issues.

• Ability to work as a team player across multiple functions and geographies, especially with Relationship Managers, Support Partners and Parent Account Managers to provide seamless solutions to the clients in line with their global strategy

• Experience with Citi policies, Citi systems and procedures

• Relationship skills and ability to maintain an effective network across the organization

• Organizational skills are a must

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
