  • Review mutual fund Fiscal, Excise and Interim Tax provision packages
  • Review mutual fund and/or partnership, financial statements, Tax disclosures
  • Review periodic distributions (Fiscal, Excise, Quarterly/Monthly)
  • Review RIC Federal/State Tax returns, and other Tax reporting filings
  • Review shareholder year end reporting
  • Ability to train/teach and mentor tax analysts
  • Ability to independently perform tax research and special projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal business units and external partners
  • Ability to support managing client engagements, working directly with external partners such as Audit and Treasurer Offices
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field
    • 6- 10 years of mutual fund or investment partnership Tax experience
    • CPA and or MST preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel/database and word processing programs
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, team player
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
    • Ability to function effectively with other internal business units
    • Ability to work overtime as required
    • Ability to assume various roles to meet client needs
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
