The Field Sales Team Lead is an entry level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to deliver a full range of sales support activities in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of support services to Citi clients and to assist team in meeting sales targets.


  • Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members
  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase revenue for the bank
  • Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi’s products
  • Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products
  • Achieve or exceed decided sales targets
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


  • Previous relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in financial sales, customer service and management required
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Creative problem solving and decision-making skills


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Gestionar los equipos de fuerza de ventas para la promoción de productos y servicios financieros; establecer relaciones de trabajo estratégico con las sucursales Citibanamex, empresas y clientes para el logro de los objetivos comerciales, definir y ejecutar estrategias comerciales de acuerdo a las necesidades del  negocio

Formación Académica

  • Deseable Licenciatura / Áreas Económicas, Administrativas y Sociales e Ingenierías
  • Necesario Bachillerato concluido comprobable

Experiencia (en años)

  • Necesarios 5 años de experiencia gestionando Fuerzas de

Ventas y promoción de productos financieros.

Conocimientos Técnicos

Conocimientos generales en procesos de ventas, gestión de equipos de trabajo, análisis y prospección de nuevos mercados, manejo de paquetería office

Necesario manejo de tecnología digital (Tablet, Smartphone, lectores biométricos)
