The Field Sales Representative 1 is an entry-level position responsible for meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned district or location in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales team. The overall objective is to utilize basic product knowledge to build relationships with clients in order to recognize which financial products and services meet their needs.


  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase revenue for the bank
  • Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi’s products
  • Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products
  • Achieve or exceed decided sales targets
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • Previous relevant Field Sales experience preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Influencing and relationship management skills
  • Exhibit the ability to identify and recognize customer needs


  • High School diploma or equivalent

El Representante de ventas de campo 1 es un puesto de nivel de entrada responsable de cumplir con los objetivos de ventas de productos y servicios financieros dentro de su distrito o ubicación asignados en coordinación con el equipo más amplio de Ventas al consumidor. El objetivo general es utilizar el conocimiento básico del producto para establecer relaciones con los clientes con el fin de reconocer qué productos y servicios financieros satisfacen sus necesidades.


• Dar servicio a las cuentas existentes y establecer nuevas cuentas en la ubicación designada o en el área de cobertura geográfica asignada para aumentar los ingresos del banco

• Acercarse de manera proactiva a los clientes de Citi para establecer necesidades reales, comprender al cliente y sus requisitos e interesarle en los productos de Citi

• Proporcionar asesoramiento e información sobre el producto a los clientes de Citi, según sea apropiado, describiendo las características y los beneficios

• Identificar oportunidades de venta cruzada para vender otros productos.

• Lograr o superar los objetivos de venta decididos.

• Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular para la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, impulsando el cumplimiento de las leyes, normas y regulaciones aplicables, adhiriéndose a la Política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido con respecto al comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales, y la escalada, la gestión y la notificación de problemas de control con transparencia.


• Experiencia previa relevante en ventas de campo preferida

• Demuestra consistentemente una comunicación escrita y verbal clara y concisa

• Habilidades de influencia y manejo de relaciones.

• Exhibir la capacidad de identificar y reconocer las necesidades del cliente.


•Diploma de escuela Bachillerato o Preparatoria concluida su equivalente
