The Field Sales Representative is an entry-level position responsible for providing customer service assistance and meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned district or location, in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales Team. The overall objective is to utilize a wide range of product knowledge to build relationships with clients in order to recognize which financial products and services meet their needs.


  • Establish and maintain high value accounts by providing expert and professional advice and promoting high level portfolios and other financial products
  • Analyze existing Citi client’s interests, problems, and potential need for new products and services
  • Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships
  • Receive and process service requests for clients to achieve their transfer and have a low percentage of rejections in customer certifications
  • Continue to seek and maintain product and service knowledge
  • Remain current on applicable regulations by attending internal training programs
  • Follow commercial strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets set by management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in financial sales preferred
  • Proficient computer and technology skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Working knowledge of related financial regulations
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills as well
  • Demonstrated Influencing and relationship management skills


  • High School diploma or equivalent

Funciones Principales del puesto

Prospectar clientes nuevos en las diferentes oportunidades de mercado fuera de sucursal, proporcionar asesoría previsional y realizar cierres exitosos de ventas del producto Afore y promoción de Ahorro Voluntario, APP Citibanamex Afore, así como la colocación de otros productos del Grupo Financiero (Seguros, Portabilidad, Hipotecario, etc.)

Formación Académica

Deseable Licenciatura concluida en áreas económico–administrativas ó Licenciatura trunca (más del 50% de créditos/materias concluidas).

Experiencia (en años)

Al menos de 2 a 3 años de experiencia en venta consultiva y prospección de clientes.

Conocimientos Técnicos

Deseable, manejo de tecnología Digital(SmartPhone, Tabletas etc.)


Labor de Prospección de Clientes.

Manejo de Técnicas de Ventas Consultivas.

Atención de objeciones

Detección de oportunidad para venta cruzada

Cierre de Ventas

Relación con Clientes

Comunicación y presentaciones efectivas en diversos foros.
