Responsibilities
Role Description
To ensure operational excellence in the way we solution, provision, instrument, manage and continuously improve Citi’s Technology Infrastructure services. Providing support to our Wintel and Unix platforms to have an Internal Control on:
Projects / Metrics in Service Now / Financial Topics / Internal Audit controls / Jira Follow ups
QA in our MOR Wipro / Staff Office Resources / CISAR control. / CAMP Report.
in order to ensuring that the systems and production environment is optimized in accordance with the organizations standards while meeting business and country specific requirements as appropriate.
Key Responsibilites
Infrastructure Operations
- To provide business technical leadership to ensure best performance of critical underpinning application infrastructure
- To be accountable for vetting the correctness of the build architecture solution of new projects
- To be accountable for technical requirements of projects lies by liaising with the sector/platform teams
- To establish risk identification & mitigation planning of end to end technology solutions
- To help identify risk resolutions and improvement opportunities and track them to closure through Service Improvement Plans
- To promote adoption of technical / architecture standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization
- To ensure server availability by monitoring servers and highlighting any issues and recommending remedial actions
- To understand risk exposure / situations and recommend remedial actions for issues dues to EOVS/EOL, access restrictions etc.
- To drive efficiency across regions while adhering to region's (country's) data privacy laws, legal frameworks, regional practices etc.
- To be accountable for root cause analysis for complex incidents
- To work in tandem with other sector/Platform Managers to do RCA (Risk control assessments) & decide the resolution
- To review infrastructure for Single Points of Failure (SPOF's) and escalate to correct teams
- To look for capacity related incidents and bring focus to senior management
- To prevent recurrence of issues by analyzing tickets, understand patterns and recommend remedial actions based on global impact of the problem
- To identify processes/procedures that are not congruent with industry standards & suggest improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- To collaborate with infrastructure and application owners and ensure that the end to end technology solutions are met as per business requirements
- To collaborate with other sector/platform managers to enable best-in-class service
- To act as a primary liaison between application architects and infrastructure support teams
- To be accountable for identifying business platform/sector specific service improvement plans
- To develop relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs
Performance Measures
- Internal Customer Satisfaction results (as per guidelines)
- Stability of the infrastructure & risk-minimization initiatives
- Identification of architectural/design defects
- Promote highly scalable architecture standards
- SLA adherence
- Tracking and driving cost optimization initiatives
- Publish MIS – exception dashboards etc.
- Cost avoidance - EOL / EOVs analysis etc.
- Project timelines – for special projects undertaken

Typical Experience Levels
- Expert infrastructure knowledge with at least 3 a 5 years' experience in large mission-critical

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem management skills in a high pressure environment. .
- Very strong written, spoken and presentation communication skills
