Sr Vice President (C14) - Finance Accounting Group Manager - (ROHQ - Finance & Risk Shared Services)
The Finance Accounting Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for partnering with other reporting managers within FBR Accounting team to help govern and transform the end-to-end processes of the Financial Books and Records Group in Manila. In addition, the Finance Accounting Group Manager will also support in strengthening the control environment within the teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and run the governance for accounting, financial close and intercompany reconciliation teams
- Drive the implementation of change in strategic direction for the process and operating model for FBR Accounting in Manila
- Drive the group’s transformation and remediation goals including process automation, adjustments reduction, EUC elimination and intercompany break remediation
- Supports with the assessment and implementation to changes in systems, business and reporting requirements
- Monitor the group’s operational and organizational metrics, KRIs and SLAs and recommend actions, as necessary.
- Support the FBR accounting teams to operate in a controlled environment and compliant with all internal and external policies and procedures
- Help prepare the group for all global/regional internal or external audit or regulatory reviews
- Support the FBR accounting team operation Managers with Talent strategy - recruit, develop, and retain talent within the team
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in reporting or operational areas
- Experience with governance and risk & control environment: implementation control frameworks and programs
- Broad knowledge of operating and reporting ledgers is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering on transformational and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work across functional areas and experience in managing multiple stakeholders at various levels
- Demonstrated project management and ability to drive execution on strategic initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
