ROHQ - CRMS - Risk Operations Senior Analyst (AVP / C12)

The Risk Operations Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. This role will be the designated Business Unit Risk & Control Officer. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.


  • Responsible in supporting the Business Unit Head in managing business/function/product specific risks. 
  • Responsible in ensuring and monitoring Business Unit’s compliance to applicable country regulations, Corporate policies and control requirements which include among others: Information Security, Continuity of Business (COB),  Managers Control Assessment (MCA),  Records Management, End User Computing (EUC),  Third Party Management, Mandatory Compliance Trainings,  Mandatory Leave Policy. 
  • Responsible in ensuring Business Unit’s compliance to the COB Policy and will ensure that the business unit’s COB Plans are in place and are being tested on a periodic basis. 
  • Ensures that key processes performed by the business are covered by Manager’s Control Assessment. 
  • Represents the Business in the monthly ROHQ Risk & Control meeting and will be responsible in ensuring timely completion and submission of all Compliance and Control related requirements.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 5-8 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Risk & Control, audit or Compliance.
  • Proven ability to work independently and be self-starter. Exceptional organization and process management ability.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframe while still maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced analytical skills and time management skills, excellent attention to details
  • Intermediate technical skills including intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) a plus


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
