Reference Data Services Analyst 2 - C10 - TAGUIG
The Reference Data Services Analyst 2 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.
Responsibilities:
The EMEA Rates team is part of the Institutional Services Group that is responsible for ensuring the quality of FX and Interest Rates held within our master database application (PMC Rates) are accurate and kept up to date. Key responsibilities include:
- FX and Interest Rates validation
- Close cooperation with support teams and business partners (production support, development team, vendors, management)
- Analysing of operational errors of the Department including proposals and implementation of corrective action plans based on conclusions
- Process manuals/checklist/procedure update
- Close cooperation with co-workers on process improvements initiatives
- Contact with data providers to resolve process related issues
- Work hands on with tight deadlines
- Provide effective control function to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Understand global procedures to support other markets during off hours
Qualifications:
- Willing to work in the shifting schedule.
- English knowledge – C1 Advance
- Data analysis, ability to work with databases, advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA,formulas)
- Economical or financial education preferable
- Ability of being flexible in the changeable environment.
- Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail
- Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
