Description


  • Enterprise Infrastructure is responsible for providing critical infrastructure and support to Citi on an enterprise-level, across all businesses and Regions. The Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) organization supports the end-to-end supplier lifecycle process, from supplier risk assessment, through competitive bidding and selection to contracting and payment. The ESC organization’s purpose is to ensure we manage our supply chain in an efficient and standardized manner through all stages of the supplier lifecycle, leveraging Citi’s scale to optimize the supply chain while ensuring rigorous controls
  • The TPU provides operational support, process guidance, and quality assurance and quality control oversight to businesses across Citi, leveraging a central utility infrastructure, standardized processes and operating procedures in order to execute robust risk management activities throughout the third-party management life cycle

Function Specific Responsibilities:

  • Have a clear understanding of all Citi policies and procedures that directly impact ESC and drive the adoption and adherence to these processes and procedures to minimize risk
  • Build strong internal relationships and help strengthen controls and awareness across Citi businesses globally
  • Liaise with Third Party Officers (TPOs) and Business Activity Owners (BAOs) and Regional Risk teams to provide guidance on policy compliance and overall third-party risk management requirements
  • Provide expert guidance and support on the development of key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and promulgation of best practices
  • Respond to TPM/TPU related queries/concerns via Phone/e-mail received from different stakeholders
  • Ensure that queries and requests are processed within Service Level Agreement (SLA) to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Ensures that queries and requests are well documented, monitored and efficiently addressed by regularly updating the items logged

Provide support to Citi businesses for the execution of third-party risk management activities throughout the third-party, management lifecycle, including:

  • Supporting third-party selection process through evaluation of different questionnaires for insurance coverage, HR Management, Subcontractor reliance, corporate responsibilities, etc.
  • Conduct different research activities, like Sanctions Screening, AB&C assessment, Reputation Check and Note Worthy News monitoring
  • Support ongoing monitoring activities through the evaluation of different questionnaires for insurance coverage, HR Management, Subcontractor reliance, corporate responsibilities, Exit Strategy etc.
  • Third-party onboarding activities
  • Documenting termination plans and off boarding of third parties etc.
  • Monitor progress on agreed upon third-party remediation activities and escalate issues as necessary
  • Execute common, standardized third-party risk management processes, managed centrally by the TPU
  • Acts as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders to provide process support throughout the third-party management life cycle
  • Support reporting activities as required
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Complete all tasks in connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head

Qualifications


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 6+ years of direct, relevant experience in third-party risk identification and management or operational area or processing field is an advantage
  • Call handling, Contact centre or Help desk experience is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken English - experience in operating in business English in a corporate role
  • Intermediate command of MS Suite
