The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team.

This position within Personal Banking and Wealth Management is for a Business Intelligence developer with a focus on full stack web application development. This role supports design, implementation, enhancements and issue remediation for web-based reporting, dashboards, and scorecards supporting performance management for multiple supported businesses.


  • Work with management and senior business leaders to document requirements for projects.
  • Create conceptual designs, test cases and related documents including functional requirements for new projects.
  • Work with peers and management to design interaction between data layer and user interfaces.
  • Design and implement web applications features for session state management.
  • Create and document testing for application code including unit testing, security review, and availability/performance.
  • Design new user interfaces for reporting/dashboards.
  • Design reusable/extensible components for use in multiple reports/views including component interactions and extensible properties.
  • Design and implement data models used in web applications (ex. user model).
  • Development of API calls to be used in web applications for a high traffic environment.
  • Participate in code reviews with management and peers on a regular basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • 4 or more years of software development experience
  • 2 or more years of experience with web development (HTML, CSS/SASS, and similar)
  • 2 or more years’ experience with modern web application frameworks including Angular, Node.js or similar technology
  • 2 or more years’ experience working with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
  • Experience/knowledge of agile software development lifecycle requirements including code management and promotion through various environments
  • Experience with source control tools and processes (ex. GIT)
  • Experience with development of REST APIs, including development and/or troubleshooting of existing code

Additional Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred; ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following in addition to the required qualifications.

  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle relational database development (PL/SQL).
  • Experience and/or demonstrated knowledge with container-based platforms i.e. Docker. as well as cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience using Atlassian tools for software development lifecycle management (Confluence, Jira, BitBucket)
  • Working knowledge of .Net Core and/or Java
  • Experience and/or demonstrated knowledge of Python


  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
