This position is in Czech/Hungary/Romania in the TTS Trade Product area with focus on client-facing Trade activity.


  • Apply thorough understanding of existing Trade products and ensure adherence to prevailing Trade Product/Credit Programs/Procedures in deal execution and client management.
  • Contribute to cluster-wide Trade client management, new deal origination and execution regarding assigned clients/initiatives. Assist in pricing new trade assets. Prepare trade approval documents (GDR/RDR memo, threshold approval requests, etc.).
  • Support new acquisition and x-sell activity of relationship bankers through preparing product presentations, drafting indicative offers and agreements, preparing transaction reporting. Get involved in customer calls.
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments such as Banking, Risk Management, Legal, Trade Operations, and other relevant O&T departments to support implementation of trade deals on a timely manner and ensure smooth communication and proper information flow towards clients and internal counterparts.
  • Ensure timely execution of daily/regular/ad-hoc administrative departmental tasks (CRM pipeline management, portfolio reporting, modification/prolongations of Trade agreements, etc.). Get involved in creating reports/presentations required by internal/regional management or external counterparties.
  • Take part in deal origination/wallet penetration activities including wallet sizing exercises, ad-hoc and periodical portfolio reviews, annual renewals of Product/Credit Programs.
  • Take ownership of Trade financials for assigned initiatives/clients with a view to grow Trade revenues and assets. Investigate revenue reporting issues as needed.
  • Actively coach stakeholders and oversee activities, related to delegated initiatives and clients. Act as a backup for country Trade heads in the cluster.
  • Maintain high control and risk awareness. Manage MCA and COB procedures; get involved in regular testing and documentation if such tests in accordance with applicable procedures.

  • Experience in Trade product management and Citi operating environment is an advantage
  • Experience in client-facing banking activities is an advantage
  • Experience in structuring and implementing cross-border Trade solutions in an advantage
