This is a “Treasury individual contributor” role to lead IRRBB requirements in the EMEA region and responsible for the interest rate risk management of the banking book requirements. This role located in Budapest, will provide full support to interest rate risk related internal and local regulatory requirements including ECB’s regulatory returns under CRR2 and Stress Test (under EBA guidelines) exercises. This role will partner with colleagues across finance and the businesses to enhance existing processes and practices to create efficiencies and to support driving franchise value.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

  • Provide support for a prudent use of the balance sheet with respect to interest rate risk management
  • Interact with Market Risk Management and Internal Audit functions as well as Regulators and Senior Management
  • Assists in strengthening and providing controls by showing transparency of the Balance Sheet
  • Prepare regulatory returns - IRRBB under CRR 2 for EMEA and stress test under EBA guidelines
  • Support technology solutions for IRRBB automation
  • Review behavioral assumptions for assets and liabilities such as deposit betas and prepayment speed

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Prior treasury/ liquidity/ risk management/ ALM/ Financial Reporting experience required
  • Must be able to understand complex financial concepts and distil into clear, concise and simplified concepts
  • Experience with understanding and preparing analytics for a senior audience
  • Comfortable communicating across teams and geographies, taking into accounts cultural sensitivities and diverse working practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related fields
  • Advanced quantitative and presentation skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Access, and ability to work with large volumes of data leveraging spreadsheets and models
  • Excersices effective project management, relationship building and communication skills
  • Take ownership and execute on deliverables
  • Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high energy environment
