The EMEA KYC Business Analyst Lead

The KYC Operations Sr Officer is a senior-level position responsible for leading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to lead in the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Operations processes for efficiency opportunities across factors such as geographic footprint, team structure, experience levels, and Models of Service.

• Propose and gain consensus on future state processes with focus on operational efficiencies

• and the customer experience

• Convert ideas into strategic roadmap and drive execution

• Liaise with partner groups including AML Compliance, Business Groups, Technology, and others on improvement opportunities

• Analyze and managing user stories and requirements

• Migrate users between platforms and lead UAT / PVT releases, if required

• Conduct interviews and run workshops documenting current state process and pain points

• Present findings to senior stakeholders

• Champion change management / socialize with senior management

• Identify optimization opportunities in process, challenge existing processes and requirements

• Responsible for performing deep dive analysis on "as is" processes and making recommendations on future state.

• Responsible for document creating on processes, procedures, and workflows associated with the business process.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Continuously improve processes by exploring and evaluating, tools, and capabilities with business.

• May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.

Skills & Experience:

• Business analysis - You can apply structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyze and communicate complex business problems and opportunities,

• Business modelling - You can represent real world situations at varying levels of detail or complexity, to aid the communication and understanding of different scenario

• Business process improvement - You can lead the analysis, identification, design, prioritisation and implementation of process and business changes to improve business operations and services

• Business process testing - You can apply business analysis and evaluation skills to support the design, execution and assessment of business process tests and usability evaluation

• Requirements definition and management - You can identify, analyse, challenge and validate business and user requirements. You can manage requirements throughout the whole delivery life cycle and ensure that requirements can be traced in the design, build, test, tender and evaluation phases, so that the solution aligns with business goals.

• Stakeholder relationship management - You can identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders. You can communicate with stakeholders clearly and regularly, clarifying mutual needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of impacts while focusing on user and business needs

• Previous Business Process Management (BPM), Agile, Waterfall and UAT experiences is an advantage
