Responsibilities
Into our team we are looking for a
Sustainability Data Analyst - Regional Net Zero Operations
The role will support the regional transition to net zero operations by ensuring a consistent approach to data collection, analysis, and governance as well as the incorporation and implementation of Net Zero principles in strategic building projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform real estate portfolio analytics e.g. trend analysis on energy and resource use, certifications etc
- KPI tracking of greenhouse gas and other sustainability targets
- Support the execution of the Enterprise Carbon Accounting strategy
- Work with the technology (GSO) team to produce different internal and external reports
- Develop more efficient reporting processes
- Work with and monitor facilities management (FM) vendors
- Develop scenario models for example to identify pathways to meet sustainability goals
- Support the global and regional teams with data analysis requests
- Coordinate data workflows between the Global GSO, FM and other teams
- Develop summary presentations for senior leadership
Perform research into sustainability topics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in data management, analytics, mathematics, engineering, , sustainability, finance, or related field (or equivalent professional and/or academic training)
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience of working in the sustainability/carbon areas such as reporting, modelling, renewables, buildings, greenhouse emissions, waste
• Data management expertise
• Strong excel skill and exposure to other data management software
• Statistical and data analytics expertise
• Model development e/g/ energy models and perform CBA
• Ability to use platforms such as Tableau and Power BI - Familiarity and understanding of Net Zero principles and greenhouse gas emission accounting standards and guidelines (GHG Protocol) and sustainability reporting systems such as CDP, DJSI, GRESB, RE100
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Strong communications in English and influencing skill in remote environment
- Technical research and writing skills
