We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager – with large corporate background – to join our Citi Commercial Bank.


Who are we?Citi Commercial Bank (CCB)provides global and local banking capabilities and services from emerging to mid-sized corporates worldwide, including in Hungary.Our office in Budapest provides countrywide coverage and relationship management for our esteemed clients. The Senior Relationship Manager would join Mid-Corporate Team of CCB Hungary, which focuses on the upper segment of companies with net sales over $100 million.

The position is located in Budapest and it provides great opportunity to leverage on your relationship management skills in a professional environment working with clients with complex needs.

Senior Relationship Manager

Your tasks:

  • Develop the client base, acquire new clients
  • Be the principal contact and coordinator between the bank and its clients, manage multi-country relationship with our clients
  • Ensure that the bank’s clients get the highest level of service by assessing and understanding their needs and delivering the right solutions
  • Actively promote the bank’s digital initiatives, its cross-border capabilities and support implementation of cash management and treasury related deals
  • Coordinate different areas within the bank in relation to clients
  • Manage deals execution, acquire new clients, as well as provide support in daily routine tasks
  • Understand credit risk and assess credit needs appropriately to safeguard the bank’s interests
  • Follow internal policies and ensure compliance with them at the highest ethical standard 

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 6-7 years of large corporate banking experience in similar area
  • Have strong ambition and ability to acquire new clients
  • Possess robust knowledge of banking products (including cash management and treasury services) available on the market
  • Strong credit risk and deal structuring knowledge
  • Strong client service centricity, be proactive, initiative, flexible, challenger for ideas
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Analytical thinking with integration skills, ability to pay attention to details, to set priorities and to work under pressure
  • University Degree in Business/Finance/Economics
  • Fluent English knowledge and native/fluent Hungarian are a must
  • Proficient user of MS programs
