Junior Java Backend Developer
The Credit Risk Technology Team is responsible for delivering Risk Management software solutions to Citi’s Risk organization. It manages Citi’s exposure to institutions that trade with Citi as well as risk arises due to changes on financial market. Our systems guarantee the safety of financial operations for our clients and soundness for global economy. The statistical calculation engines and data processing frameworks we develop allows us to create real value by strong and complex technical solutions using Java 11 and 17, Spring, REST, Oracle and Linux.
Our local team working in Budapest at part of our global team: Developers are collaborating to achieve best results, and now we are looking for a Java developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to recommend and implement solutions, define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and interpreting code.
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
Consult with project owner, clients and other technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging.
Qualifications:
Fluent English knowledge.
University/college degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics.
1+ years of hands-on experience in Java.
Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical functionality.
Advantages:
