Financial Reporting Senior Analyst– Credit Risk

Prudential Reporting team within Finance is responsible for capital adequacy calculation as per actual Basel rules. Prudential team ensures the accurate monitoring and reporting of capital ratios to several stakeholders including senior management, business leads and regulators.

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with counterparty credit and financial reporting for a large EMEA investment bank including capital calculation and monitoring. This requires knowledge about a wide range of financial products and close collaboration with many internal counterparties.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

• production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports
• Maintenance and further enhancement of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis
• ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
• provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)
• liaising with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues

• exploit a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results

• use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

• 4+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting / auditing roles
• good analytical skills
• good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, Financial Markets and product knowledge is an advantage
• knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL is an advantage
• university/College degree in finance/accounting
