Financial Reporting Analyst

The Liquidity Reporting Team, which is part of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is looking for Intermediate Reporting Analysts who covers CRD IV liquidity related templates including LCR, NSFR, ALMM and Asset encumbrance returns. The center is a key part of Citi’s Finance function on global scale and offers excellent career opportunities for financial reporting professionals. As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with the generation, tracking and submission of regulatory liquidity reports to the Regulators. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare reports and statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines


Responsibilities:

  • Create and analyse various reports that detail important aspects of the bank’s financials for the Central Banks, regulators and supervisory bodies
  • Prepare the necessary adjustments to eliminate the potential data quality issues
  • Facilitate the implementation of procedures and the development of analyses and reports
  • Support the new developments and work closely with the Technology/Corporate Treasury/Business Analyst teams
  • Escalate problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures
  • Check and ensure that procedures, process notes and policies are up-to-date and applied to adequately cover rules and regulations
  • Apply and develop controls and reports including reconciliations, static data and variance analysis and mapping reviews


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of previous experience preferred
  • Experience in Finance, Reporting or Treasury is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with automatization tools is an advantage
  • Basel 3/CRDIV/CRR related knowledge is advantage


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
