Responsibilities
Citigroup Realty Services (CRS) is a division of Citigroup Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T), providing real estate support services to all Citigroup businesses. CRS is dedicated to provide all Citigroup businesses with premises that are cost effective, safe, and productive and valued by our customers as a strategic partner in their successes and by our employees.
CRS provides effective and safe working environments to Citigroup businesses. Operations provide and support to CRS in the areas of communication, process, systems and people.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze country / cluster expense trends and headcount plan - identify associated risks and agree resolution plans with senior managers.
- Manage the operations team to ensure all CRS invoices are vetted, paid (and accounted for), CRS EMEA related financial journals are posted in a timely and error free manner.
- Oversee the preparation of financial journals that relate to specialist premises GAAP requirements, accruals & adjustments
- Supervise the input of accounting information on invoices and selection of initial approvers.
- Monitor team’s end results, ensuring quality and efficiency and contributes to resource planning and formulation of procedures
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Support all country / cluster financial reporting requirements
- Completing Account Ownership & ageing analysis for CRS owned balance sheet accounts
- Day-to-day management of all CRS Accounting activities.
- Manage team activities end to end while standardizing processes and finding opportunities to improve processes
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience managing a team
- Graduate preferred (not necessary, depending on experience)
- Economics, Accounting or Finance Degree desirable
- General accrual-based accounting knowledge
- Fixed assets Knowledge is a must
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
