Responsibilities
Citigroup Realty Services (CRS) is a division of Citigroup Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T), providing real estate support services to all Citigroup businesses. CRS is dedicated to provide all Citigroup businesses with premises that are cost effective, safe, and productive and valued by our customers as a strategic partner in their successes and by our employees.
CRS provides effective and safe working environments to Citigroup businesses. Operations provide and support to CRS in the areas of communication, process, systems and people.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate CRS operations functions from local country teams across EMEA to the CRS utility team including fixed assets processes.
- Support of regional Finance organization tasks including budgeting, expense management and cost saving initiatives
- Support all country / cluster financial reporting requirements
- Prepare financial journals that relate to specialist premises GAAP requirements, accruals & adjustments, when required.
- Assistance with project closeout (setting up assets, accounting, tracking creditors’ balances, etc.)
- Completing proofs & ageing analysis for CRS owned balance sheet accounts and Become the account owner for CRS operations accounts used.
- Support “Automation” of processes when applicable. Improving, standardizing, continual process improvement
- Ensure that all Deadlines in relation to fixed assets (Including proofing) are monitored and delivered on time before Cut-off
Qualifications:
- General accrual based accounting knowledge
- Good IT background in areas such as MS Office. Confident working with large datasets.
- Fixed assets Knowledge is a Must
- 3 + years Operations experience. Finance Operations experience is an advantage , preferably within a cross-cultural team environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent research and problem solving skills
- Ability to plan, organize and schedule duties to meet processing deadlines
- Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame
- Excellent follow-up skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong team-orientation, interpersonal skills, flexibility.
Advantages:
- Working with remote teams would be an advantage
- Knowledge of real estate industry (preferable not necessary)
- Economics, Accounting or Finance Degree desirable
