Role supports and reports to Citi’s Business and Travel Shared Services (BTSS) Metrics, Analytics, and Reporting Services (MARS) Program Head and will operate within a team of program core and associated analytics professional specializing in BTSS products and functions. The program supports BTSS by empowering senior business analytics professionals with advanced data management and analytical skills and by leveraging end to end data collection, cataloguing, curating, analytics and automation tools and processes. The role will focus on travel program products falling under the BTSS organization and the building and maintenance of the data and analytics pipeline to support those products.


  • Take a leadership role in the building and maintenance of analytical models and dashboards related to BTSS product and function operations using Arcadia, Paxata, HUE, PowerBI, Power Query, Excel, Access
  • Learn all potential new analytical tools that may be adopted by the BTSS MARS Program
  • Partner in the maintenance of BTSS data ingestion and processing pipeline leveraging advanced data shaping and data transformations applications (Paxata)
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including engagement on new and existing projects and deliverables
  • Organize and execute dashboard testing under the supervision of MARS program head; including training, guidance and debriefing of testers
  • Complete all BAU deliverables independently and on time
  • Participate in and help lead the creation, planning and maintenance of employee engagement and peer learning opportunities in BTSS in data and analytics – our team is home to the analytics champions, tutors and mentors for BTSS
  • Focuses on travel programs performance optimization in coordination with Citi team.
  • Participate in project planning and management as it pertains to program analytics.
  • Identify innovative self-service technology solutions that advance the goal of straight through processes
  • Monitor and track progress on analytics re-engineering initiatives
  • Provide business intelligence across multiple BTSS products
  • Manages documentation, gather business requirement, create business process flows
  • Design and model global and regional reports, scorecards and dashboards
  • Prepare data for regional and global business and senior leadership reviews
  • Drive transition of exception-based processing to end-to-end straight-through processing.
  • Support program head in the organization and supervision of BTSS MARS program associates


  • Five years of experience in data analytics role required
  • Experience building dynamic reports and models using MS Excel required and Arcadia, MS Access, Power BI, Arcadia, Paxata, HUE and cloud-based analytics software is a plus but not required
  • SQL and other data related language experience a plus
  • Advanced technical skills covering all Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to lead and organize professional and engaging meetings with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in travel/corporate card management analytics role a plus
  • Advanced problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Bachelor’s Required and Master’s degree preferred. Preferred degrees include  Data Science, MIS, Finance, Geography, Social Sciences, Healthcare, or other data driven fields
