CCB Branch Manager Brno

Citi offers a unique opportunity to join our team in Brno as Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) Branch Manager within our Institutional Clients Groups.

In this role, you will report to Segment Heads on business strategy and business growth, identify market trends that impact Citi and its clients, act as the senior representative of the bank in the region, and manage the CCB Sales Teams across Czech Republic. Besides managing a small team of CCB Relationship Managers and Relationship Manager Associates, you will also have an own a portfolio of clients to look after in terms of business development, x-sell and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the branch and own portfolio to meet revenue target and full client satisfaction
  • Be responsible for maximization of revenues, returns, customer acquisition and activation with focus on mid-size and emerging corporations in the region
  • Manage the branch expenses within the agreed budgets and achieve budgeted revenues, minimize cost of credit (LLR)
  • Ensure adequate staffing and coverage, and provide appropriate training to all staff in the team
  • Provide senior support to the team and be involved in all important transactions of the regional branch
  • Be responsible for quality of credit submissions, timely annual review submissions and KYC processing
  • Independently seek deals/opportunities and involve product specialists/credit/operations in order to provide solution to clients
  • Together with the team manage a healthy credit portfolio and be accountable for portfolio quality, early problem recognition and quality due diligence

Ideal background                                            

  • University degree (bachelor’s/master’s)
  • Native Czech and fluent English language knowledge
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in banking and financial advisory to clients (especially mid-size and emerging corporate clients)
  • Deep understanding of investment banking, credit and cash products, markets, trade, and risk related skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to embrace new technologies and the role digital plays in the client experience
  • Sharp business development focus and demonstrative innovative approaches
  • High-level of self-motivation and ability to motivate others
  • People management experience is beneficial
