The Analyst Market Data Reporting Role is a global role with responsibility for providing reporting and analytics around Market Data expenses and interfacing with other team members, and finance partners in each business.

Role Overview

Provide variance explanations and monthly expense allocations support for ICG lines of business globally Perform complex analysis for management in a variety of ad hoc projects. Present the results of analysis in a logical, actionable, and easy to understand format.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully and accurately complete monthly allocations for NAM, EMEA and Asia Pacific Regions, ensuring we are fully recovered on a monthly basis.
  • Partner with key members of market data, finance, product, and contract teams, in order to understand, analyze and provide transparency for Market Data costs.
  • Manage and convert large amounts of business performance data into usable metrics which will aid in the monthly analysis of spend.
  • Establish successful relationships with all all teams within Market Data space: Operational, Business Advisory, Procurement, in Country controllers and finance contacts for various lines of business.
  • Provide comprehensive cost transparency through the research and analysis of market data monthly actuals against budget, and comparison to previous periods.
  • Assist direct manager in multiple process efficiency projects & stretch assignments


  • Relevant finance experience.
  • Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control financial principles.
  • Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills - must be able to work in a complex, organization on integrated teams horizontally and vertically.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with very tight timeframes.
  • Ability to suggest process improvements while achieving tangible results.
  • Ability to establish strong internal relationships and to work in partnership with multiple parties to achieve shared goals.


  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Access
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service orientation and strong desire to learn and grow
