HR Transformation Workforce Planning Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Workforce Planning Initiative under the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) Transformation Program Group.
Workforce Planning is a newly created function under HR focused on ensuring Citi has the right number of people, with the right skills in the optimal organization structure and has four key pillars to deliver its strategy: (1) Staffing Capacity, (2) Organization Design and Effectiveness (including skill adequacy), (3) Program Management, (4) Business Management/Operations.
The Business Analyst role is part of the Business Management/Operations team focused on establishing the operational excellence of the Workforce Planning function, driving regulatory response, board and executive presentations, data and reporting strategy, success measurement and team culture and communications.
This role will require developing solutions to meet business objectives and operating with an ownership mindset across the broader set of project deliverables and cross-initiative tasks. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator and problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate our global organization across cultures and geographies.
Support the Initiative head and team leads in formulating and setting strategic direction for the processes, and frameworks that support on-going operation of the Workforce Planning function
Assist in drafting policies, procedures, process maps and documentation standards as required for the successful build of the function
Conduct research and industry benchmarking to identify best practices for workforce planning, and propose actions to design and implement the RACI and engagement model of the function
Partner across Workforce Planning function to define, document, and implement standardized processes and procedures to support a mature, repeatable, sustained control environment
Presentation of strategy and/or execution related information to senior leadership
Provide end-to-end project management of special projects, and maintain a disciplined follow up and tracking approach for any open items
Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
Prepare meeting agendas and materials, draft talking points for senior and regulatory meetings, and document key decisions and follow up actions
Design and provide day-to-day support to management in the form of ad hoc analysis, stretch assignments as needed
Build strong relationships with partners across HR including HR Advisors, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Control & Compliance, HR Regulatory Engagement team, as well as with stakeholders across Internal Audit and businesses
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience in HR/Finance/Business
Demonstrated relevant experience in Consulting or Project/Program delivery
Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports/ recommendations supported by strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to drive execution and connect the dots across multiple pieces of work
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and knowledge across multiple geographic locations.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
Familiarity with Lean principles, such as Process and value stream mapping, and Kaizen, is a plus
