Business Consultant - Resource/Workforce Management

Internal Audit is a global organization of nearly 1500 professionals covering Citi's global businesses and service to clients and customers in over 160 countries.
Internal Audit (IA) have had a presence in Belfast CSC since 2016 – the team includes auditors and professional practices staff providing quality assurance and operational support. The Resource Scheduling Team is responsible for contributing to the optimization of IA’s global staff, and currently comprises of 6 Resource Consultants at Assistant Vice President (AVP) level and a Senior Resource Manager at Vice President (VP) level.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Business Associate from a workforce scheduling background at AVP level to joining the existing team.
The team have global responsibilities, working with senior management and audit teams to optimize IAs staffing model, identify operational efficiencies to drive seamless execution of the assurance plan. Each Resource Consultant is dedicated to an IA business unit led by an IA Executive Management member and is responsible for embedding the scheduling tool and associated processes into BAU activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain in depth experience of a critical Citi global function, that interacts with all of Citi’s businesses units. - Responsible for maintaining and updating the resource scheduling tool Facilitate scheduling conversations with business managers and senior leaders
Understanding of Citigroup and IA priorities to collaborate within the IA Resource Management Team, to maximize resource sharing and ensure adequate audit plan delivery is timely
Collaborate with senior leaders to identify issues and to develop and execute action plans across all areas of our people strategy including diversity, individual and team development, performance management, rewards and recognition, and workforce planning to address short and long term needs/skill gaps
Understand IA to positively influence deployment decisions with goal of balancing workload, optimizing utilization, promoting flexibility, diversity initiatives, and providing broad-based experiences and developmental opportunities while balancing firm and client needs
Assist with staffing decisions while considering individual development needs, career interests, and broad-based experiences;
- Analyze scheduling data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities
- Support strategic initiatives in relation to resource management
This position will provide exposure to senior level stakeholders and many countries throughout the world. You will also learn how the internal audit team functions as a business as well as being a critical part in determining resourcing needs across internal audit.
Experience in a related role with experience in business, human capital and resource management.
High level of proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

BA/BS or equivalent preferred
