EMEA Talent, Learning and Diversity (TLD) team; purpose of EMEA TLD is to advance a culture in which people can thrive and contribute to the future success of Citi.

TLD Advisor, part of TLD Advisory Team in EMEA TLD team, is a strategic professional who consults across the EMEA Franchise to drive forward the people agenda and improve performance. TLD Advisor is responsible for understanding the talent, learning and diversity needs and opportunities of the business and identifying appropriate solutions, frameworks and best practices which can be implemented as part of the overall people strategy and plan. TLD Advisor is a partner who provides advisory to a broad range of HR and business stakeholders. The TLD Advisor partners with Subject Matter Experts in TLD team to bring solutions to needs in our businesses and functions. This particular role will initially focus O&T and Functions as well as the Dublin and Belfast Citi Service Centers. The role will lead complex projects, manage competing priorities and provide extensive stakeholder management.


  • Understands relevant business and HR priorities and opportunities for capability building, performance improvement, talent and cultural development, within their region/product/function
  • Identifies and discusses and advises on appropriate solutions, frameworks and best practices which can be implemented
  • Form close, collaborative and trusted relationships with business leaders, HR partners and regional/global TLD team members.
  • Ensure strong, proactive communication links exist to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent execution and implementation of solutions, projects and activities.
  • Develop and maintain an external network to continually challenge Citi’s approach and to develop our thought leadership.
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities and provide insights for the business on potential areas of focus and initiatives (i.e. diversity actions ; succession and development requirements)
  • An inclusive member of the EMEA TLD and wider HR team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in talent management and/ or diversity and/ or learning & development.
  • Experience in project management, in a global environment, with complex stakeholder groups
  • Experience in advisory roles
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with a willingness to lead projects.
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing impactful, effective and innovative solutions
  • Capable of performing effectively in complex situations with limited guidance, and unafraid to challenge the status quo
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, and operating in ambiguity
  • Displays initiative, with a strong desire to learn the business and stay up to date with developments in talent, learning and diversity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience of Workday desirable.
