Role / Department Overview:
The IT Project Manager within Compliance Technology Services acts in support of the Global Communications Surveillance Platform. The PM owns project plans, including identifying and resolving dependencies, risks, and issues. Partners with Development and Product teams to ensure adherence to roadmap deliveries. Maintains project documentation and collaborative project spaces. Functions as a point of contact for progress reporting and status updates. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to resolve complex problems. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Assists the Platform/Program manager and other Senior Project Managers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for administrative components of multiple IT projects, which include project documentation, status reporting, risk and issues tracking, and alignment with Citi Project Standards.
Coordinates activities of the project team, works with Senior Project Manager to resolve issues with scope and schedule in order to meet completion deadlines.
Responsible for documenting meeting minutes, defining clear action items, and tracking action items to completion.
Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.
Effectively engage with project team members in a global setting with good communication and diplomacy skills.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
Acts with good judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.
Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning.
Adheres to Project Management best practices.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in an IT project management role.
Experience in managing Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects.
Experience in Jira and Confluence.
Experience in MS Office Excel, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.
Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to integrate data from multiple sources with attention to detail.
Strong, interpersonal and organizations skills.
Strong communication and writing skills that lead to clear, concise, and unambiguous documentation including action plans, meeting minutes, and project presentations.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
