The Head of Citi-branded Consumer Cards is a key strategic role within the Consumer Business, overseeing a team of people managers within Cards and Loans - the largest business in Citibank Australia. The Consumer Cards team compromises Product Management, Partner Management and Cards Loyalty oversight for Consumer Cards, Co-Brands, white label partners and Diners. The team is responsible for overall P&L performance for Core Cards delivering sustainable and profitable growth. The Head of Consumer Cards is responsible for the thought leadership, building the strategy and ultimately being accountable for the execution and day to day management of the Consumer Cards Product and Loyalty strategy.
The incumbent will ensure compelling, competitive and sustainable value propositions to deliver profitability in the portfolio, keep ahead of the competition, and adopt global standards to enable local empowerment
- 10+ years proven experience within the unsecured lending industry
Strong understanding and experience of unsecured lending drivers, products & functions
Strong previous P&L Management
Demonstrated ability to establish and execute to strategy
Strong Product management experience.
Strong Marketing experience
Strong people management and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence through matrix authority
Strong business acumen
Advanced degree preferred
