Info Sec Engineering Analyst – Data Protection / C12 (Divestiture)
The Info Sec Engineering Analyst – Data Protection is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.
The Info Sec Engineering Analyst – Data Protection is an expert for solutioning and product integrator with strong experience in security and application control access, knowledge in certificates, key management and secure protocols of communication (TLS), transaction signing and others. Expert data protection in transport and storage using strong confidentiality solution like HSM's.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate scheduled application changes to comply with standard Citi Risk & Control processes.
- Identify, develop and implement technology improvements for assigned applications and ensure alignment with Information Security standards and strategic priorities.
- Support business and security operational teams during any routine or crital-troubleshooting event.
- Provide Authentication and Access Solutions Operations teams with engineering approved documentation for proper operation of supported solutions.
- Evaluate existing technology or product related processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide implementation support for engineering approved business requests related to security application infrastructures.
- Communicate correct use of standard and strategic security technologies within the Mexico region and coordinate with operational teams to ensure minimal impact to lines of business that must migrate from legacy services.
- Assist with providing technology responses for any Regulatory, Risk, Compliance or Audit requirement.
- Coordinate technology development groups to ensure alignment with Citi’s software development lifecycle.
- Plan, communicate and deliver assigned support projects on time and with accuracy.
- Provide recommendations to simplify security architecture for Mexico.
- Meet all local, regional and global technology regulatory policies, processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role and developer of software solutions.
- Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
- Technological leader experience
- Linux and distributed platforms knowledge
- Knowledge in OLTP middleware implementations like TUXEDO, MQ or others
- Expert in C/C++, JAVA and Web services
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
- Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement
- Intermediate English
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Information Security experience or certification (desirable)
- Skills in software development life cycle, UML and Agile Software development methodology familiarity.
- Tandem Non-Stop technologies like: NS SQL, NS SOAP, PATHWAY. Desirable
- Tuxedo Linux, SALT, Web Logic. Desirable
- Developer of software in C/C++, JAVA for maintain CitiSecure’s products. Required.
- Experience in software solution Integration & implementation based in security standards and best industry practices.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
