Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Management

  • Expand the market for the Citibank products through managing a team of sales executives in Direct Sales.
  • To ensure that team performance meets desired objectives and goals set by Management.
  • Responsible for meeting / exceeding KPIS for the channel. Plan and implement sales strategies within the team to ensure achievement of set goals example TM Events management, MGM (member get member) & target market listing.
  • Conduct regular meeting/daily huddles for updates and feedback.
  • Build customer advocacy through managing best in class sales process in terms of customer communication and service
  • Observes and addresses any weaknesses in sales process including customer intercept, engagement and communication.
  • Will work towards building a sales culture which becomes a benchmark in terms of meritocracy, diversity and adherence to Citi policies
  • Perform leadership role and work with the Sales Executives to deliver team targets as agreed with the Sales Manager
  • Work closely with Sales Support/Operations and CIU for smooth functioning/ flow of applications and processes.
  • Handles customer queries and complaints on priority to build a client-centric culture.
  • Keep an eye on the competition and provide timely feedback to key stakeholders/ decision markers
  • Builds talent pipeline, identifies and grooms high potential sales staff.

Sales Control and Governance Management

  • As a part of daily sales huddles with Sales Executives, update & reinforce credit policies, product proposition, criteria, Citi policies etc.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Timely and comprehensive communication of any issues / potential threats to senior management
  • Achieve satisfactory audits and Local Regulatory Audit results.
  • Drive compliance and control initiatives. Ensure full adherence to all internal policies and procedures and external legal and regulatory requirements

Development Value:

  • End-end sales force management , Knowledge of best practices across the industry & globe

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Preferably with 3 + years’ experience in managing a team in a target-based environment
  • Manage sales teams of not more than 20 staff

Skills:

  • Possess good business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and is excellent at written/spoken communications
  • Track record of outstanding individual sales performance and/or overall business performance
  • Strong leader, entrepreneurial, driven and passionate for sales

  • Graduate /Post Graduate
