Citi's Corporate Bank acts as the ‘relationship management’ function with responsibility for working with product partners to design, originate and execute innovative and often cross-border solutions for our clients across the full spectrum of corporate banking capabilities including bank and bond market issuance, derivative risk management, securities and fund services, transactional banking and trade services, and working capital solutions.  

  • Our Vice Presidents are an integral part of the Relationship Management Team who build and grow our long-term relationships with clients; addressing their most complex banking needs, helping them to succeed in their businesses by solving problems and realizing opportunities.  These bankers act as the primary local contact point through which our clients access Citi’s global capabilities; they develop integrated financing strategies for the client and orchestrate the delivery of relevant parts of Citi's coverage and product platform. Our coverage bankers are accountable for client strategy, use of capital, in-business compliance, and partnering with Independent Credit Management as the first line of defence.

  • We seek a highly motivated and committed individual with Institutional Banking experience in either large or complex local corporates, and/or financial institutions. The initial client portfolio will be shaped to suit the experience of the successful applicant. 

  • This experience is an excellent opportunity to display your client management skills in the context of strategy, sales, industry and business knowledge, credit and capital management.  This requires a strong understanding of banking products and services.

Qualifications:

  • No less than 8-10 years of relevant banking experience

  • Sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations affecting it and the lending and credit approval process

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills

  • Experience with large corporate clients or financial institutions, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management and trade finance

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
