Implementation Manager


Overview of Role:

• Manage new business and enhancement implementation projects for the Receivables and Payable products ranging in complexity from simple to complex
• Act as the primary interface to client, while coordinating all internal and external project related activities
• Follow implementation and documentation approval process
• Responsible for project governance and accountability on the entire project
• Review documentation and ensure information security compliance
• Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously varying in scope and complexity

• Productivity/ Project Management:
o Detailed project management knowledge including the preparation of project plans, Statements of Work and other project governance tools
o Project and resource management
o Ability to manage to project deadlines
o Ability to manage client expectations
o Ability to influence others and use resources effectively within budget limits
o In-depth understanding of the core documentation requirements by product
• Knowledge of file transmission protocols a plus (EDI, SAP iDoc, etc.)
• Strong leadership skills and able to mobilize teams, both internal and external that are not in direct reporting line
• Fully understand and implement Citigroup’s values: Responsibility to our clients, to each other and to our franchise

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Implement Receivables product solutions for top tier names and multi-product clients
• Primary product owner and lead implementation manager responsible for all associated testing exercises, setups and production deployments.
• Follow project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management process. This includes managing and driving:
o Statement of Work/Project Charter
o Project Plans , Timelines and Deliverables
o Risk and Issue Management
o Scope Change Management
o Weekly touch point meetings
o Project Status and Escalation Management
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure
• Educate and train clients on operational and service procedures as well as product capabilities
• Provide client support ensuring client expectations are managed and client is satisfied during the implementation phase as well as ensuring smooth production turnover
• Manage 30 day post implementation support


• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of implementation/project management and/or Receivables/Cash Management product experience required
• Strong Influential skills to manage virtual teams
• Strong project management skills and proficient in Microsoft Project
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
• Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
