Citi Investment Research and Analysis is looking for a Research Associate to assist its top-ranked analyst team in the Retailing / Broadlines and Food & Drug equity research space.
The Research Associate responsibilities will include significant analytical work, including monitoring industry news and trends, updating financial models and valuation tables, contributing to written research notes and reports, and helping with ad hoc projects as needed including the analyst's marketing handout. You will help manage client relationships, and respond to their requests as well. You will also be responsible for helping to coordinate client events and conference calls with industry experts. The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS with a strong academic record. Relevant experience in buy or sell side equity research, investment banking, public accounting, or consulting is a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and will possess strong organization, interpersonal and written skills. The position demands natural intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. The ideal candidate will also need to be able to prioritize and work well under pressure, as daily news flow and unplanned projects arise frequently. Proficiency with both Word and Excel is required. Ability to work overtime required.
