Responsibilities:

  • Leads a body of work to drive comprehensive expense management for the Branch Network
  • Partners within Branch Network team, as well as with Finance, Business Performance and Analytics teams, to dissect and understand drivers of US Branch Network expense base
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and, requires basic commercial awareness.
  • Validates and corrects for underlying assumptions in expense allocations, both to and from the Branch Network business
  •  Confirms proper alignment of expense to owner
  • Identifies operational opportunities to reduce expense
  • Establishes targets for expense changes and ensure rigorous tracking against goals
  • Builds awareness and devise actions for Branch Network leadership to realize expense reductions
  •  Facilitates expense execution across teams, e.g. functional management
  • Connects expense actions to broader strategic goals
  • Supports accountability on returns against key expense / investment programs
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Oversees program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents.
  •  Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones.
  • Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Highly-motivated self-starter, able to navigate through non-linear paths
  • Strong orientation to results and accountability for impact
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence internal partners
  • Knowledge of Citi and experience across Finance and Business preferred


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, potentially Master’s degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
